Micah Duncan

2 Time NILL All Conference Midfielder
2011 Idaho State Runner Up
D3 NCAA Conference Champion
5 Years Coaching Experience
Micah began his career in lacrosse at a young age after watching his older brother practice and play for Gonzaga Prep's first lacrosse team. A four year Letterman and 4 year captain at Prep, Micah also played for Burnaby Mountain Selects in Canada. After traveling with BMS he was scouted by numerous universities and ultimately awarded a scholarship to play for Birmingham Southern College in Alabama. In his freshman year at BSC Micah played defensive middie, and quickly earned himself a spot on the starting D-line. That year his team won their NCAA conference championship. After returning to Spokane Micah assisted long time Prep lacrosse Coach Chris Shogan, eventually taking the program over in 2016. Micah was able to lead the team to it's first ever State semi-final game in 2016.
Nathaniel Duncan
Defensive Coordinator
Played on Inaugural Gonzaga Prep Lacrosse Team ('03-'04)
Gonzaga Prep Alum '04
5 Years Coaching Experience
Nathaniel first started lacrosse as a respite from years of track. As one of 10 players on the first Gonzaga Prep Lacrosse team, he discovered a profound love of the game. Though the first season saw few goals and no wins, Gonzaga Prep tradition demanded that the team never quit. Once graduated, Nathaniel attended Gonzaga University staying close to Prep and helping with the lacrosse program as his younger brothers began to play. In 2016 he became an official Coach in the program.

4 Seasons as HS Official
5 Years on SYL Board - Current Director of Coaches and Officials
Brian played high school lacrosse on Long Island. After an unexpected All League senior season, his strong desire to fly took him west to the US Air Force Academy. There, he took on the role of long stick middie as a 4 year starter. His freshman team played in Air Force's second ever Division I playoff game, but ultimately lost to Loyola. He went on to be an All Conference player in his junior and senior seasons. He led the Falcons as a team captain and MVP his senior year. After a nearly 20 year hiatus from the game, Brian is now involved in Spokane Youth Lacrosse, working to grow the game in Eastern Washington. He has served as a High School lacrosse official the last 4 seasons, and is excited to take on the role of defensive coordinator at Gonzaga Prep.
